Finally clicked why my morning routine fell apart every single day by 10am
After three months of struggling I realized I was scheduling my creative work for right after breakfast when my brain is still foggy from scrolling my phone for 45 minutes on the couch, and swapping that order around last Tuesday literally doubled what I got done before lunch has anyone else noticed their peak focus time is totally different from when they thought it was?

Phone scroll is the silent killer of morning momentum. I had the exact same issue - thought I was a "morning person" for creative work but it turns out I'm just a "morning person" for mindless scrolling. Swapped my routine to get outside for a 10 minute walk before touching my phone, and my brain wakes up way faster. What time did you end up moving your creative block to?

Honestly I used to roll my eyes at the whole "no phone before x" thing. Thought it was just another wellness trend for people who already have their life together. But after seeing this and trying it for a few days I get it now. The walk thing is smart because you're not just staring at a wall either. Moved my writing to 6:30am and the difference is wild - I get more done in an hour than I used to in three.
