Can we talk about the week where everything just clicked, versus the week it all fell apart?
Last month I had two totally opposite weeks back to back. First week: Monday I finished a project a day early, Tuesday my kid got the school award he wanted, Wednesday I found $20 in an old jacket, and by Friday I had energy to cook dinner every night. It felt like the universe was on my side.
Then the next week: Monday my car battery died in the parking lot at Target, Tuesday I forgot my mom's birthday until 9pm, Wednesday I spilled coffee on my laptop, and Thursday I got a flat tire on I-75. Nothing huge, but all of it piled up and I felt like I couldn't catch a break.
What makes a good week good? Is it just luck, or do we set ourselves up for it somehow? Did I do something different that first Monday that I didn't repeat? Or is it random and we just tell ourselves stories about the pattern? Anyone else notice their good stretches and bad stretches come in clumps, or is it just me?

Funny how those stretches always come in clumps, right? I swear the good weeks feel like a reward for nothing and the bad ones feel like a punishment for the same nothing, so maybe we just notice the pattern more when we're already looking for it.
