Appreciation post: The $200 masterclass that saved my business from a costly mistake
I spent $200 on a 3-hour business planning workshop last fall in Portland... figured it was a long shot but I was stuck. The instructor pointed out I was wasting money on a marketing channel that was eating 40 percent of my budget with almost no return. I dropped that channel and shifted the money to direct mail for my tree service... within 2 months I had 3 new contracts worth over $4,000 combined. That one decision basically paid for the class a hundred times over. Has anyone else found a small investment that ended up making a huge difference in how you run things?

Did I pay $200 for someone to tell me to stop being an idiot?

@emma_ramirez yeah, I paid a therapist $150 to basically say "have you tried not caring so much?" and it actually helped. I mean, annoying but effective.
