Took an old tabletop file organizer to my Mac, big mistake fixed with a folder trick
Last week I was drowning in 47 open design tabs for a poster series, switching between screenshots and artboards like a madman. I thought some fancy tabletop file sorter would help, but nope, it just collected coffee rings. Then I spent 20 minutes building a simple folder system on my Mac, one folder per poster version, with a color tag for review status. That cleared my desktop and cut my double-check time in half, easy. Anyone else rely on OS folders over physical organizing for their projects? What color tags do you use?

Tell me how you set up the review status tags, because I found color coding falls apart fast when two people have different ideas about what yellow means. I tried a similar system with my own files and spent more time arguing about the shades than actually reviewing the work. Did you build that folder tree from scratch or adapt one of the preset Mac templates?
