That one Tuesday where everything just clicked

Last month, I had a Tuesday that was supposed to be chaos. Three logo revisions were due by noon, and a client wanted a full website mockup by 5pm. I got the logos done in half the time by using my own quick color palette template instead of building from scratch each time. Then the website wireframes came together fast because I reused a layout I made for a similar project six weeks earlier. Has anyone else found that keeping a small library of past work templates helps them get through crazy deadlines?

Oh sure, I call my past work library my "lazy genius folder" because it makes me look way more organized than I actually am. Nothing beats the feeling of finding a template you forgot existed and realizing future you saved past you from doing the same work twice. My computer is a mess but somehow my template folder is the one corner of my digital life that actually makes sense.

Wait, you named your folder "lazy genius"?? @amy_reed79 that is honestly brilliant and I'm mad I didn't think of it first. I gotta ask though, how many subfolders deep does that thing go? I tried organizing mine once and ended up with like seven layers of folders and still couldn't find anything. It's like my brain on a bad day but digitized. That feeling of finding a template you forgot about is pure gold though, like finding a ten dollar bill in an old coat pocket. You basically built yourself a time machine that saves you from having to think, which is the real genius move I think.
