Spent two days fixing a font licensing mess for a simple logo update
A local bakery in Springfield needed their logo file, but the original designer used a font we didn't have a license for. I thought it would be a quick swap, but finding a good match and getting the spacing right took almost 16 hours. Has anyone else had a font hunt turn into a huge time sink?

Honestly, that sounds like a process problem to me. Why not just ask the bakery to get the font file from the original designer? That's their job to provide. I would have sent them back to the source first thing. Spending two days on a match feels like doing someone else's work for free.
