My whole client presentation file corrupted right before a big meeting
It happened Tuesday morning, an hour before I had to show a branding project to a new client. I was using Figma and the auto-save just... didn't. The file loaded as a blank page. I had to quickly pull old screenshots from my project folder and rebuild the flow in a new file in 20 minutes. Has anyone else had a Figma file just die on them, and what's your backup plan now?

Man, that's rough. I just save a new version manually every single day, no matter what.

My version history looks like a digital hoarder's nightmare. I've got "final draft," "final final," "no really final this time," and "okay now I'm just messing around." It's a mess, but at least I can find something from last Tuesday.

Hang on, @evana71, let me pick your brain on this. By "saving it manually" do you mean you literally hit "Save As" with a date stamp each day, or are you just relying on an autosave that might get overwritten? I'm asking because I've had autosave trash a whole day's work before (long story involving a power flicker and a corrupted file), and now I'm paranoid about it. Like, do you name them "ProjectName_2024-01-15" or something more chaotic? I need to know the system, because my "okay now I'm just messing around" version from @angela_wilson78 is probably the one I actually need three weeks later.
