I was sure component libraries were just a fad back in 2016
A buddy at a small agency in Austin kept pushing me to use one for a client site. I grudgingly tried it on one project and it cut my build time by nearly half. Anyone else have a tool they ignored for way too long?

The "hated it until I tried it" pipeline is real with everything, not just code. Same thing happened to me with meal prep containers. Thought they were a gimmick for instagram fitness types, but after one week of not eating sad desk salads out of a ziploc bag I was hooked. It's like some stuff just needs the right project or context to click. Tailwind's the same way, you gotta hit that wall with traditional css to appreciate the utility-first thing. Once you see it, can't unsee it.
