Hot take: I finally tried a 3D mockup generator instead of building every scene from scratch in Blender for a pitch deck.

The mockup tool got me a full set of 12 polished images in about 90 minutes, which used to take me a whole day, so has anyone else found a good shortcut for 3D product shots?

Read a blog post about using those tools for quick social media assets. Seems like a huge time saver for basic shots.

Yeah, but "basic shots" is the catch. It saves time until you need something that doesn't look like everyone else's post.

Totally get the time save, that's amazing! I hit the same wall with generic outputs though. My fix was to take the mockup into Blender anyway, but just for lighting and small tweaks. It kept the speed but added a unique touch, which actually speaks to what @the_jason said about standing out. You get the base done fast but still have room to make it your own.
