Debate: Should you share client feedback with the whole team or keep it private? I can't decide after what happened at a pitch in Denver last April.

My art director showed the whole room a client's negative comment about our color scheme during a live critique. It shut down the conversation fast and made the junior designer defensive. But later, the feedback helped us pivot to a better layout that won the project. Do you think sharing raw client reactions openly is a good workflow hack or does it just kill morale? I'm curious how others handle this.

Is it really that serious? Sharing tough feedback in a group setting might sting in the moment but it sounds like it actually solved the problem and won the job. Maybe the real issue is how you deliver it, not whether you share it at all.

Deliver it one-on-one first, then bring it to the group after they've had time to process it.
