After three projects, I finally made a proper template for client feedback and it cut my revision time in half.

That "proper template" idea is huge. I started asking for feedback on specific sections instead of the whole document at once. Like having them comment only on the color scheme in round one, then the layout in round two. It stops those "just one more thing" emails that derail everything.

Actually, I'd call that more of a structured feedback process than a template. The template is what you send them, like a marked-up PDF with just the color options visible. The real win is setting those clear rules upfront. If you just say "feedback on colors," some people will still scribble notes about fonts in the margins. You gotta lock the other layers down and be firm about the phase you're in.
