Those 3D printed plaques I ordered in Austin came out way too glossy
Wanted something with a matte finish for a local skate shop's wall display. The online preview kept showing a nice flat look so I hit order, 40 bucks for 12 pieces. They showed up last week and the surface is basically wet looking, catches every light in the room. Now I'm stuck deciding if I spray a dull coat over them or just redo the whole thing on my friend's laser cutter. Anyone else run into a gloss mismatch with print shops that don't show real samples?

Grabbed a batch of stickers from a shop in Denver once that looked matte in the mockup but showed up with a mirror shine so bad it hurt to look at. Ended up slapping a cheap matte spray from the hardware store over them, worked out okay for the most part.
