The shortcut marker I used to lay out a 12 foot mural saved me 3 hours

Had to plot a curved letterform on a brick wall for a shop in Minneapolis, measuring every point was killing me. Bought a cheap chalk line and a set of paint markers, snapped arcs and drew the curve freehand in sections, fixed the wobble with a level. Anyone else find that drawing the grid loosely beats plotting every inch?

Whoa, a chalk line saved you 3 hours on a mural? That's wild.
