The grocery store signage that made me look twice in Austin
I was grabbing stuff for dinner and this H-E-B had these handwritten chalkboard price tags with little doodle arrows pointing at the sale items, not printed ones. They were all slightly off-kilter but super readable, and I actually stopped to photograph three of them before checking out. Do other chains do this custom hand-lettering thing, or is it just a Texas local twist?

Wait, did the chalkboard look fresh or like it had been there for weeks? Because that changes whether it's a real local thing or just some corporate promo that photoshopped the "handmade" vibe.
