Paid $40 for a zine that had the text printed upside down on every page
I grabbed this cool-looking music zine at a punk show last month and didn't notice until I got home that every single page was rotated 180 degrees. Has anyone else gotten tricked by a layout mistake that just made you laugh and cringe at the same time?

Wait, is it weird that I used to kinda hate when zines had obvious mistakes like that? But honestly this made me reconsider. There's something charming about the chaos of it all, you know? Like, it's a punk zine, maybe the upside down text is part of the vibe (even if it was an accident).

Back in the 90s I ordered a cassette tape from a small indie label and when it arrived the whole thing was labeled wrong. The case said one band, the tape said another, and the actual music was some third thing nobody could identify. I kept it because it was kind of neat having this mystery tape nobody else had. Forty dollars for an upside down zine is rough though. At least you can still read it if you turn it around, even if it feels like you're reading in a funhouse mirror.
