I used to design everything on my tablet first, then print last minute

For years I would sketch layouts in Procreate and call it done, but after a print shop guy showed me how my colors shifted on actual cardstock I started mocking up full-size paper drafts. That one conversation three months ago made me realize I was missing all the texture and scale details that only a physical proof can show. Anyone else find that their digital mockups look completely different once they hit real paper?

Ha yeah @cameron_craig, my paper sketches look like a toddler drew them compared to what ends up on screen.
