Reached 200 color palettes saved and felt like a total beginner again
I've been messing around with design for about six months now, mostly making flyers for my church group. Last week I hit 200 saved color combos in my little inspiration folder, which felt like a lot. But when I tried to actually pick one for a new poster, I froze for like an hour and ended up using plain black text on white. Has anyone else built up a huge collection of resources but still struggle to apply them when it counts?

Maybe you're getting analysis paralysis from treating palettes like art instead of tools.

Oh man, 200 palettes is no small feat (seriously, that's a lot of organizing). But that moment of freezing with all those choices is so real. I've got a folder with hundreds of cool fonts and layout screenshots, but when my friend asked me to design a birthday invite last week, I just stared at the blank canvas for an hour and defaulted to something super safe. It's like having so many options actually makes your brain short-circuit sometimes, you know?
