My grid alignment fell apart on a 3 page flyer last Tuesday

I spent all day lining up boxes in Figma for a local coffee shop menu. Everything looked perfect on my screen. Printed it at the library on their laser printer and every single margin shifted 2mm to the right. The librarian said it happens all the time with that model. Has anyone else had print preview mess up their spacing like that, or am I missing a bleed setting somewhere?

Ngl, that librarian is right about those library printers being cursed. I had the same thing happen with a two-sided postcard once, spent way too long on it, and then realized the printer just wasn't doing a true 100% scale. What finally worked for me was setting the print dialog to "actual size" instead of "fit to page" and also making sure the paper size matched exactly what my file said. Also, double check that your margins in Figma are at least 3mm, because some printers just eat that extra space no matter what you do on screen. It's a pain, but once you know the printer's quirks, you can just build that 2mm shift into your layout from the start.
