Did your junior dev also look at you like you had a third eye when you first tried to explain it? I had a similar moment with a co-worker who pointed out that our "responsive" cards looked completely broken on an older tablet. It made me go back and look at how I was handling breakpoints for the first time in months. I realized I had been writing mobile styles after the desktop ones and just praying they worked. Now I spend an extra hour on every new component just testing it on a few real devices before sending it for review. Have you found a way to stop these surprises from happening again?

It’s the same reason my phone autocorrects weirdly only when I really need it right.
