That 40-page PDF review I made got printed and used as a coaster

Last Tuesday my boss printed out my 40-page design system audit to hold his coffee mug during a zoom call. He said the ring marks actually improved the readability, so now I'm wondering if I should add a 'stain resistant' layer to future decks. Has anyone else had a deliverable get repurposed in a weird way?

I read somewhere that the average office printer gets used for something other than its intended purpose about once a week. Sounds about right. My last quarterly report ended up as a fan during a heatwave in the break room, so I feel your pain. The stain resistant layer idea is solid, but you might want to test it against coffee first before you pitch it.
