Spent 5 hours hunting a CSS bug that was just a missing semicolon in our design token file
Our team spent an entire afternoon debugging why button colors were all off by one shade across the whole app, and it turned out a junior dev left out a semicolon in our tokens.js file. Has anyone else had a simple typo in your design system completely wreck a production build like that?

Missing semicolons are basically the design system version of tripping on a perfectly flat sidewalk. I once spent THREE days tracking down a burrito icon that kept showing up as a taco, all because someone wrote "tortilla" instead of "tortilla" in a string literal. Nothing humbles you faster than realizing a single typo just wasted 40 hours of collective team brainpower.

That tortilla/taco thing is brutal lmao. @wrenh79 you're so right though, it's like when you find a dent in your car door but can't remember how it got there - the universe just loves messing with you over tiny stuff lol.
