Just hit 500 components in our Figma library and it feels... weird
We started our design system for a healthcare app in 2022 with maybe 20 basic buttons and inputs. Now we're at 500, including a full set of data viz chart templates. It's a lot to manage and I'm starting to think we might have gone too far with the variations. Has anyone else felt overwhelmed after hitting a big number like that?

Full set of data viz chart templates" is the part that got me. I remember adding a third type of dropdown and feeling like a genius. Now I'd probably hide half of these if I could.

Full set of data viz chart templates" lol I feel this so hard. It reminds me of how we do the same thing in real life with like kitchen gadgets or home organization stuff. You buy the thing with all the attachments thinking you'll use every single one and then you end up just using the basic one forever. It's like we all have to learn the hard way that more options doesn't mean better results.
