Found a Figma plugin that cut my component handoff time by 2 hours

I was spending way too much time manually exporting and naming assets for developers. Last week I tried the 'Design Lint' plugin combined with a batch export tool, and it flagged all my inconsistent spacing in under 5 minutes. Before this I would spend at least 2 hours per feature just cleaning up and labeling. Has anyone else found a plugin that actually makes the dev handoff smoother?

The thing nobody talks about is how these plugins actually change the way you think about your file structure before you even run them. I had to completely rewire how I name my layers and components because Design Lint kept yelling at me about nonsense like "Layer 47 copy 3" sitting at x:0 y:0. Once I got used to its rules though, I started building cleaner files from the start which saved way more time than the plugin itself. The real hack is using it as a teaching tool for your own habits, not just a cleanup thing at the end. Now I run it halfway through a project and catch problems way earlier. It kind of trains you to be a better designer without you even realizing it.

That's exactly what happened to my friend Mark, @finley_walker57. He fought with Design Lint for a week before he realized it was basically teaching him how to be organized without him knowing it, and now he swears by running it at the 50% mark on every project.
