Watched a junior redo my logo lockup in 10 minutes flat

I spent 2 hours last Thursday fighting with spacing on a wordmark for a coffee shop. The junior grabbed my file, turned on snap to grid, and aligned everything perfect in under 10 minutes. What simple tool or setting do you use that totally changed how you work?

Honestly, "turned on snap to grid" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. I've been fighting with my own bad habits for years because I refuse to learn the simple stuff. Ngl, sometimes the most basic tool is the one that humbles you the fastest.

My buddy Mike spent like two weeks hand-placing every single icon in a mobile game mockup, pixel by pixel, thinking he was being artistic. Then his coworker spent five minutes turning on snap to grid and redoing the whole thing cleaner in ten minutes. Mike brought it up at lunch like three separate times, still mad about it. It's funny how much time we waste avoiding the boring fix.
