Took a screenshot of my dribbble shot from 6 months ago and put them side by side tonight
The difference was way bigger than I expected. I think switching from flat colors to subtle gradients and actually learning how to do proper shadows made everything pop. Has anyone else gone back and looked at their old work and felt weirdly proud?

6 months? Geez, I was looking at stuff from 6 years ago and felt like a totally different person made it. Actually I clicked on a file from 2017 yesterday and it had these harsh black drop shadows everywhere like I was trying to make everything float an inch off the screen. I can't believe you made that kind of progress in half a year with just gradients and shadows, that's wild to me. Must feel good to see it click so fast.
