Rant: Client told me my sketch looked like a kid's drawing... in front of her whole team
I was presenting a logo concept at a conference room in downtown Denver last Thursday. She said it looked like something her 5-year-old would make, and then her assistant actually laughed. Has anyone else had a client completely trash your rough work before you even explained the idea behind it?

Flip it around and ask if she's ever presented unfinished work in front of her own boss.

The Denver tech scene is small enough that word gets around about who treats creatives badly... maybe she forgot that. If her assistant laughed that means she's built a culture of putting people down for sport, not just you. Next time bring a reference board showing iterative design process, it makes the "kid drawing" stage look intentional instead of random.
