One comment from a UX lead wrecked how I do landing pages lol

This senior UX lead at my old agency looked at my hero section and said 'this looks nice but you buried the value prop under 3 layers of visual fluff.' They showed me how they cut half the elements and put one bold sentence front and center, and the click-through rate jumped 40 percent in the A/B test. Has anyone else had a single piece of feedback that totally changed their layout approach?

That thing about "buried the value prop" hit me hard too. I had a similar moment when a designer told me my call to action button was competing with like four other things on the page, so I just deleted everything else and put the button right next to the headline. Stuff actually started working after that lol.

I watched a friend do this exact thing @eric359 and their conversion doubled in a week.
