Hand-lettered a menu board and people think it's a font

I spent 4 hours on a chalkboard menu for a local diner in Dayton, and the owner asked which font I used, twice. Nobody believes a human wrote it with a $6 chalk marker, which is honestly a weird compliment. Has anyone else had hand-drawn work get mistaken for a digital typeface, and do you correct them or just take the win?
