The time I saw a bathroom vanity installed with the faucet holes facing the wall
I was helping a friend move into a flipped house in Tempe, and the master bathroom sink had the faucet mounted backwards. The handles were against the wall, so you had to reach over the basin to turn the water on. The installer must have put the top on without checking the template. Has anyone else run into a backwards install like that?

That is a whole new level of wrong. How do you even use the sink without getting your sleeve soaked? It sounds like the person who did it just gave up halfway through and walked away. I would have made the flipper come back and fix it before moving a single box in. Did your friend ever get it turned around the right way?

Funny enough, my buddy had the exact same problem with a flipped house. He moved in and realized the dishwasher was installed backwards too, faucet facing the wall. He ended up just living with it for a year because he hated dealing with contractors. Eventually he got fed up, watched a YouTube video, and swapped the whole thing himself in an afternoon. It was annoying but honestly not that hard once he got under the sink with a bucket (which you'll definitely need). Your friend might want to try that route if the flipper is ghosting them, beats waiting around for someone who already did shoddy work.
