Saw a house in Portland with a front door painted bright orange (like, traffic cone orange).

Totally on team statement door. My neighbor painted theirs this deep, almost purple blue and it looks amazing against the brick. It just adds some personality to the whole street without hurting the house itself.

So what's the harm in a little color if it makes you happy to come home? Olivia_barnes97 says it's just a door, but isn't that the perfect place to add some fun since it's easy to change? A whole house repaint is a big deal, but a door is just a weekend project. Why not make your entryway something that actually gives you a smile instead of just another brown door?

Joel536, it's just a door though. People act like picking a paint color is a life or death choice.
