Rant: That $200 peel and stick backsplash I thought was a steal

I put it up in the kitchen last Saturday and by Wednesday the corners were already curling in the humidity near the stove. Has anyone else had a cheap backsplash go bad on them after a few days?

Wait, the corners curled after just three days? That's wild, even for a budget peel and stick. In my experience, if the wall isn't perfectly clean and primed first, that stuff just won't hold up to any heat or moisture. Maybe try a bead of clear silicone around the edges if you give it another shot, but I'd be pretty ticked off too.

Three days? Hell, my failed batch of brownies lasted longer than that stuff. Sounds like the wallpaper gave up faster than my willpower on a Monday morning. Bet the manufacturer's response was just as sticky - real helpful.
