I figured I'd save money on the grout and mess by slapping peel and stick over the old floor in my rental near Boise, and it started curling at the edges after two showers. Between scraping the old adhesive off and prepping the subfloor right, the two hour job ate up my whole weekend plus a trip back to the store for primer. Did anyone else get burned by the cheap stuff, or did I just skip a step with the sealer?
