My electrician said one thing about my kitchen outlets that made me rip up my whole plan
He walked the layout and asked why I put the fridge outlet on a shared 15 amp circuit with the microwave, then said he sees kitchens in Austin trip every time someone runs both. Now I'm back to the drawing board and counting amps for every single appliance, anyone else have to redo their plans after a trade guy called something out?
Tbh that electrician saved you a headache down the road. Fridge and microwave on the same 15 amp line is asking for trouble, those two alone can pull close to 20 amps when the compressor kicks on mid reheat. Counting amps for every appliance sounds like a pain but it beats tripping a breaker every time you make leftovers. Redo the plan now while it's still on paper, way cheaper than ripping into finished walls later.
