Just finished painting my kitchen cabinets and hit exactly 47 brush strokes on the final drawer
I counted them because I was bored and it felt like a weirdly satisfying milestone after three weekends of sanding and priming in my little apartment in Chicago.

Used to think counting strokes was just ocd nonsense but 47 is actually a really cool number to land on after all that work. It has that weird balance where it feels like a solid finish but not overdone. Three weekends of sanding and priming sounds brutal for a small apartment kitchen, the dust alone would drive me crazy. I bet those cabinets look way better than the builder grade stuff they put in most Chicago rentals too. Did you use a special brush for the final coat or just a standard angled one?
