Had to choose between matte and gloss for our bathroom tile - picked wrong

We were redoing our master bath in Portland and I spent a week going back and forth on tile finish. Ended up going with matte because I thought it would hide water spots better, but after 3 months it just looks dull and shows every splash mark from the sink. The glossy sample the guy at Floor & Decor showed me would have made the small space feel bigger too. Anyone else regret a finish choice after living with it for a while?

Wait, did you go full glossy on the walls or just certain rooms, @noahw53? I did my kitchen in semi-gloss last year and it was a game changer for cleaning grease splatters. But I'm scared to try it in the living room cause I hate seeing every imperfection. What's your secret for making it not look too shiny?
