Client told me my kitchen layout was "too cramped"...

I spent 3 days designing what I thought was a perfect galley kitchen for a house in Denver. She pointed out the fridge door would hit the island if two people were standing there... had to shift everything 6 inches and redo the whole cabinet order. Has anyone else had a single piece of feedback totally wreck their plan?

Three days of work down the drain over one detail like that... Did she catch the fridge door issue during the initial walkthrough or was it buried in an email after you already placed the order? I've had clients point out clearance problems halfway through framing and it always makes me wonder if they're actually looking at the plans or just nodding along until something feels off.
