Why does everyone keep using pure white text on dark mode?
I keep seeing apps and sites using #FFFFFF for text on dark backgrounds and it kills my eyes after 10 minutes. I run a shop and look at my phone between jobs so I notice this a lot. Even a slight off white like #E0E0E0 is way easier to read and strains less. Am I the only one who finds pure white text actually harder to read on dark themes?
