Just realized my $60 dark mode wallpaper was hurting my eyes
I spent $60 on a premium dark mode wallpaper pack for my design projects thinking it would look professional, but after 2 weeks of using it on a client's site in San Francisco, I noticed everyone was squinting. The contrast ratio was way too low because the background was #121212 but the text was only #888888. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of contrast trap in their dark themes?
