Hit 10k page views and the dark mode switch was the turning point

I launched my portfolio site back in March and got maybe 200 visits a month. Last week I added a proper dark theme with real contrast testing, not just inverted colors, and suddenly hit 10k views. Did anyone else see a jump like that after polishing their dark palette, or was it just timing for me?

Used to laugh at the whole dark mode obsession, figured it was just a trend people hopped on for no real reason. Then I spent a weekend tweaking my own site's dark theme, not just swapping colors but actually checking the contrast on every section and making text readable. The difference was wild, suddenly the site looked like it cost ten times more than it did. Traffic numbers pretty much doubled in the following week and I could see people staying way longer on the page. Now I get why everyone makes such a big deal about it, it's genuinely a game changer.
