Found my dark mode sweet spot after 14 client rejections
Last month I finally stopped copying other people's palettes and started testing my dark themes on a cheap TN monitor instead of my fancy OLED, and the difference was night and day. Three years ago I would have just cranked the contrast up, but now I realize low contrast text on glossy screens was killing readability for half my users. Has anyone else built a test setup around their worst-case display, or do you just trust your own screen and call it good?
