TIL that using 'password123' for a work account bit me hard

My old boss told me it was fine to use simple passwords for internal tools since they're 'not public.' Got hit with a credential stuffing attack last month and three team accounts got compromised before IT locked everything down. Anyone else have a manager who brushed off password security like that?

diana55 just learned the hard way that "it's fine" translates to "good luck.

Oh man, I got stuck with that and started using a password manager right after!
