Pro tip: the library printer in Omaha was set to keep old jobs, and I watched a guy scroll through someone's tax return
I was at the public library branch on 90th street in Omaha waiting to print a return label, and the guy at the next computer pulled up the printer queue to find his file. He scrolled right past about 6 documents that were not his, including what looked like a full tax return with a social security number on it. The print job history stays on those shared machines until someone clears it, and most people never do. I told the front desk and they said they wipe them once a day, which means anything printed in the morning is sitting there all afternoon. Does anyone know if there is a way to set the computer to delete jobs right after they print?
