Password managers still scare me after 5 years of trying them
Every breach report pushes them as the fix, but I've had two lockouts in 3 years that cost me a full weekend each to untangle. The master password is one crash or update away from being your own personal ransomware. Am I the only one who keeps a paper backup list in a fire safe instead?

A paper list in a fire safe is way more dangerous than any password manager, one house fire and you're locked out of everything forever with zero backup. At least with a manager you can write down the master password and store it somewhere smart, that's a single point of failure you actually control.
