Password manager skeptic for 2 years, now I'm embarrassed it took me this long
I used the same 4 passwords for everything since college. My brother kept pushing Bitwarden and I thought it was overkill. Then last month I checked Have I Been Pwned and saw my email in 5 data breaches, one from a forum I forgot existed. I switched everything over in one weekend and now I sleep better knowing my bank login isn't the same as my gaming account. Anyone else hold out on a password manager for way too long, and what finally pushed you over the edge?

Tossed my old notebook of passwords in the trash last week and it felt like losing 20 pounds. I heard a story on a tech podcast about someone who got their crypto drained because they reused a password from a music forum. That stuck with me. So I finally moved over to Bitwarden after my bank sent me a notification about a weird login attempt from another country. Now I just make up long random gibberish for every site and let the app remember it all. The only downside is I have to pull up my phone to log into my own Netflix now, but that beats waking up to a drained checking account.
