Ngl, I quit skipping software updates, and the debate it caused was wild.

Updates patch holes, but they also break things and eat data.

Seriously, you are so right. I finally let my phone update last month and it completely bricked my Bluetooth connection to my car. Fixed a security flaw I never noticed and traded it for a feature I use every single day. It's the worst kind of gamble, like they're patching the roof but maybe removing the front door. I swear they do it just to keep us on our toes.

My Samsung did the same thing two updates ago, broke the connection with my wireless earbuds for a solid week. It's such a weird trade, they fix something invisible but break the stuff you actually touch every day. Feels like we're all in the same boat waiting for the next glitch.

Please, you'd rather have a hacked phone?
