My password manager warning after 3 weeks of lazy habits

I skipped updating my master password after a breach alert in June, and last Tuesday someone logged in from a foreign IP. They didn't take anything but it shook me enough to change everything. Has anyone else dealt with a near miss like this, or am I just lucky?

Foreign IP logins happen all the time with bots and wrong passwords. Unless they actually accessed your vault and you saw weird entries, this sounds like a standard brute force attempt that got blocked. Maybe the real wake up call is that you need a stronger master password, not a whole panic reset. I mean, if nothing was taken, you basically got lucky with a slap on the wrist.
