My dad's password advice from 2009 finally paid off last Tuesday

My dad used to nag me about using the same password for everything. He said, "Son, one day you'll thank me for this." I rolled my eyes for years, but last Tuesday my old email got hit in that big data breach. The hackers tried that same password on my bank and PayPal. They got locked out because I had different passwords for each account. That was the day I sent my dad a text saying he was right. So now I'm wondering, how many of you actually follow the unique password rule or are you still using one for everything?
