I finally picked a password manager after months of flip-flopping

Went with Bitwarden over LastPass because of that 2022 breach, but I still wonder if the extra features on the paid version are worth $10 a year, has anyone else made this switch and regretted it?

Man, I feel this. The whole password manager thing is like trying to pick a dentist... you know you need one but you keep putting it off. But honestly, it's the same as paying for a good lock on your front door. You don't think about it until someone tries to get in, then you're glad you spent the extra ten bucks. I've been burned by free stuff before, and with Bitwarden, you're basically paying for peace of mind and a few nice extras. It's probably the best ten bucks you'll spend all year, especially if you're tired of resetting your bank login every other week.

@ivancoleman I get that argument but I gotta push back a little. Ten bucks a year adds up when you multiply it by every subscription you already have. Before you know it you're paying for password managers, VPNs, cloud storage, and suddenly your "cheap" digital life costs more than Netflix. The free tier of Bitwarden already does everything most people need. Unless you're sharing passwords with a family or need TOTP codes built in, those paid extras are just nice-to-haves, not necessities. I'd rather spend that ten bucks on something else and just deal with minor inconveniences.
