That one tip about checking computed styles saved my whole afternoon

A dev in the CodePen discord told me to stop eyeballing the inspector and actually click computed styles when a hover state looks off. Sure enough, my transition was being overridden by a base rule I wrote 3 weeks ago on a site for a bakery in Austin. Fixed it in 5 minutes after staring at it for 2 hours. Has anyone else had a tiny habit like that totally change how fast you debug?

Computed styles are handy but honestly the inspector usually tells me everything I need.
