That client logo that turned into a floating head after a CSS overflow fix

Spent $200 on a freelance dev's quick patch and it made my hero section's background image clip through the navbar like a ghost at a frat party, anyone else have a cheap fix turn into a bigger mess?

Ugh, is it really that big of a deal though? A logo turning into a floating head sounds more like a funny glitch than a real problem (unless you're running a funeral home or something). Honestly, $200 for a quick fix that mostly worked sounds like a decent deal compared to what some "real devs" would charge for the same goof.

The real issue here isn't the glitch itself, it's that the guy paid for a "fix" that still left a broken site. Like, if you pay a plumber $200 to stop a leak and water's still dripping everywhere, you're not gonna be stoked just because it's not a full flood anymore lol. Plus, floating heads could actually mess with SEO or make the site look unprofessional to clients depending on his industry. I bet the dev knew the client was desperate and just took the easy way out. Always better to ask for a full refund or a free touch-up if they don't fix the whole thing.
